Description

The Cisco CPAK-100G-SR10 is a transceiver module designed for high-speed data transmission over short distances in data centers and enterprise networks. It supports 100 Gigabit Ethernet (100GbE) connections using the 100GBASE-SR10 standard. The module utilizes a Cisco CPAK form factor, which is smaller and consumes less power compared to traditional CFP and CFP2 modules. It features a 24-fiber MPO/MTP connector for connection to OM3 laser-optimized multimode fiber optic cables. The CPAK-100G-SR10 can transmit data at a wavelength of 850nm and offers a maximum reach of 100 meters on OM3 fiber. It is also interoperable with 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) interfaces using breakout cables, enabling a migration path from 10GbE to 100GbE.
