Description
The Fortinet FSR‑112D‑POE is a ruggedized Layer 2 managed PoE+ switch engineered for industrial, outdoor, and harsh‑environment network deployments that require reliable, high‑performance Ethernet and Power over Ethernet connectivity. This switch features eight Gigabit RJ‑45 ports with PoE/PoE+ support, each capable of delivering up to 30 W of power, providing both data and electrical power to devices like IP cameras, wireless access points, industrial sensors, and VoIP phones without separate power injectors. The rugged design, including fanless operation, broad operating temperature range from ‑40 °C to +75 °C, and IP30 ingress protection, makes it suitable for factory floors, transportation hubs, and remote sites with extreme conditions.
In addition to the eight PoE ports, the FSR‑112D‑POE includes four Gigabit SFP fiber slots for high‑quality uplinks or long‑distance fiber connections. It supports up to 4096 VLANs, an 8 K MAC address table, and typical Layer 2 features such as VLAN tagging, link aggregation, and QoS. Redundant DC power input via terminal block allows flexible power sourcing and high availability. Rugged compliance with EMI/EMS standards and DIN‑rail or wall mounting options simplify installation in industrial environments. The switch can operate independently or integrate with FortiGate security appliances in FortiLink mode, offering centralized management and visibility across the network.
