Both models feature battery-backed write cache (BBWC) to ensure data integrity in the event of a power failure. Additionally, the controllers support hot-swappable drives, enabling easy maintenance and replacement of faulty components without interrupting system operations.
The HPE Compute MR Gen11 RAID Controllers are designed with security in mind. They incorporate the HPE Silicon Root of Trust for firmware authentication and support for self-encrypting drives (SED) to help protect data at rest.
