Description

The CRS317‑1G‑16S+RM is a high-density, rack-mountable Cloud Router Switch from MikroTik built for high-performance 10 Gigabit fiber networks. It offers 16 SFP+ ports for 10 GbE connectivity and 1 Gigabit RJ45 port for out-of-band management. This device supports both RouterOS and SwOS, providing flexibility for switching and routing tasks.

Powered by a dual-core 800 MHz 98DX8216 chip and backed by 1 GB of RAM, it delivers robust performance with wire-speed switching across all 16 fiber ports. The CRS317 also includes advanced L2/L3 networking features such as hardware-based Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP), Link Aggregation (LACP), and jumbo frames.

The unit is designed for reliability: it has dual redundant AC power supplies, a passive 1U rack-mount chassis, and automatic fan activation when needed to maintain safe operating temperatures.
