MOXA UPort 1200-G2 2-Port USB-to-Serial Converter
The MOXA UPort 1200-G2 Series is a 2-port USB-to-serial converter designed to add reliable serial communication ports to laptops, workstations and other computers through a USB connection. Reliable USB-to-Serial Communication
The UPort 1200-G2 provides two serial ports from a single USB connection, making it useful when a computer needs to communicate with multiple serial devices simultaneously. Its RS-232/422/485 support allows the same converter family to be used with a wide range of industrial and legacy communication equipment.
The converter supports serial baud rates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps, including non-standard baud rates. A 512-byte FIFO helps improve serial data handling, while configurable parity, data bits, stop bits and flow-control options provide flexibility for different communication requirements.

For RS-485 applications, the UPort 1200-G2 supports Automatic Data Direction Control (ADDC), helping simplify half-duplex RS-485 communication. The series also provides configurable RS-485 pull-high/pull-low resistors and 120-ohm termination.
For applications requiring electrical isolation, the UPort 1250I-G2 and UPort 1250I-G2-T models provide 2 kV isolation protection. The “-T” versions are designed for wider operating temperatures from -40 to 75°C.
