Outdoor Wi-Fi 6 Connectivity
The Aruba AP-565 provides concurrent 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi 6 connectivity for outdoor and industrial wireless environments. Its dual 2x2 MIMO architecture and integrated omnidirectional antennas provide broad wireless coverage without requiring separate external Wi-Fi antennas.
Dual-Band 2x2 MIMO Performance
The 5 GHz radio supports up to 1.2 Gbps under maximum Wi-Fi 6 conditions, while the 2.4 GHz radio supports up to 574 Mbps. The combined peak data rate is up to 1.49 Gbps.
Wi-Fi 6 Efficiency
Wi-Fi 6 technologies including OFDMA and bidirectional MU-MIMO help improve spectrum efficiency and airtime utilization when multiple compatible wireless clients are connected. The AP-565 also supports 1024-QAM and other 802.11ax capabilities.
Rugged Outdoor Construction
The AP-565 is engineered for outdoor deployment and is rated IP66/IP67 for protection against dust and water ingress. It is designed to operate across a wide temperature range from -40°C to +55°C with full solar loading and is rated for operation in all weather conditions.
Integrated Omni Antennas
Unlike the AP-567 directional-antenna model, the AP-565 uses built-in omnidirectional antennas. This makes it suitable for applications requiring broad-area outdoor coverage around the access point.
Integrated IoT Connectivity
The AP-565 supports integrated Bluetooth 5 and IEEE 802.15.4/Zigbee connectivity, allowing the access point to support compatible IoT applications alongside conventional Wi-Fi networking.
