Unified Enterprise Wi-Fi 5 Connectivity
The AP-303 supports both controller-based and controller-less deployment models, giving organizations flexibility when designing and expanding their wireless infrastructure. Controller-based deployments provide centralized configuration, policy enforcement and network services, while Instant mode enables controller-less operation using a cluster of access points.
Dual 2x2 MIMO Wireless Performance
The 5 GHz 802.11ac radio provides up to 867 Mbps with compatible 2-stream VHT80 clients, while the 2.4 GHz 802.11n radio provides up to 300 Mbps with compatible 2-stream HT40 clients. Together, the radios deliver up to 1.2 Gbps aggregate peak data rate.
Enterprise RF Management
Aruba RF management technologies such as Adaptive Radio Management and AirMatch help optimize channel, channel width and transmit power according to the RF environment and client density. The AP can also operate as an air monitor or spectrum analyzer for wireless security and interference analysis.
Integrated IoT Connectivity
The AP-303 includes an integrated Bluetooth Low Energy radio for location-based services and asset tracking applications. The AP-303P variant additionally includes an 802.15.4 radio supporting Zigbee-based IoT deployments.
Applications
- Enterprise office wireless networks
- Schools and educational institutions
- Retail branches and stores
- Warehouses and medium-density environments
- Hotels and hospitality facilities
- Small and medium enterprise WLAN deployments
- IoT and Bluetooth-enabled location services
- Branch and remote-office connectivity
Compatibility
The Aruba AP-303 is designed for HPE Aruba Networking wireless environments and supports controller-based ArubaOS and controller-less InstantOS deployment modes. The exact software version and feature availability should be confirmed for the intended deployment because AP-303 is a legacy Wi-Fi 5 platform.
